CPM state committee will decide on alliance with Congress in Telangana assembly elections on Sunday. The party will take a key decision regarding the alliance with the Congress in the state executive meeting of the CPM. 

Congress has decided to go with CPI and CPM in the Telangana assembly elections. The Congress leadership will discuss this with both parties. It has been decided to allot Kothagudem and Chennur assembly seats to CPI. Congress party initially thought to give another assembly seat to CPM besides Miryalaguda. However, it is reported that the Congress party has proposed to the CPM to give an assembly seat and an MLC seat in Hyderabad, excluding Miryalaguda.

The CPM will insist on giving the Miryalaguda assembly seat as well as the Paleru assembly seat in the joint Khammam district. It is known that CPM leaders have proposed to the Congress for the Ibrahimpatnam assembly seat in Rangareddy district if Paleru cannot be given. The leaders of that party are expressing the views that it has become difficult for the Congress to secure the seats demanded by the Left parties in the face of increasing migration from other parties. If the former MP Vivek Venkataswamy from BJP joins the Congress, there is no possibility that the Congress will allot the Chennuru assembly seat to Venkataswamy. TPCC chief Revanth Reddy met with Vivek Venkataswamy. 

Meanwhile, the leadership of the Congress party has sent fresh proposals to the CPM to allot an MLC along with the assembly seat in Hyderabad city if the Congress party comes to power. CPM state executive meeting will discuss this proposal today.

The CPM has announced that they will contest alone if necessary if they are not allotted the seats they want. Regarding alliances, CPM and CPI national general secretaries Sitaram Yechury, D. The Congress leaders announced that there is a possibility of discussing alliances with the Congress national leaders. 

CLP leader Mallubhatti Vikramarka and Vamsichand Reddy are discussing alliances with Left parties. There is interest everywhere to see how the CPM will respond to the Congress proposals.
