Telangana politics is heating up ahead of Parliament elections. On 13th of this month, BRS has announced plans to organize a huge public event in Nalgonda. The Congress is hoping to hold another massive public meeting at the same Nalgonda venue as a follow-up to that meeting. Nalgonda is becoming the focal point of political excitement. The main opposition BRS alleged that in that assembly all the matters related to Krishna waters will be explained to the people.
In a meeting held at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday, BRS president KCR announced that he would hold an open meeting. More than 3 lakh people are expected to attend the meeting. This is the first public meeting held by BRS as the main opposition in Telangana. Initially there were reports that Nalgonda District SP Chandana Deepti had refused to implement meetings for a month, banning dharnas, rallies, protests and open meetings without prior permission. But, it seems that permission has been given for the BRS meeting.
On the other hand, the Congress is planning to organize a huge public meeting ahead of the BRS meeting. The Pradesh Election Committee meeting held on Tuesday discussed the list of candidates contesting for Parliament. At the same time, it seems that it has been decided to organize a huge public event with 2 lakh people in Nalgonda Parliament in competition with the BRS Sabha. The reports are coming that they have also decided to invite Priyanka Gandhi to this meeting.
