Criminal case against Pawan Kalyan

A key development took place as the election time approached. A criminal case has been registered in Guntur court against Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan. On July 9 last year, Pawan Kalyan was accused of making inappropriate comments against volunteers. The state government has filed a petition claiming that the reputation of the state government has been damaged. The Guntur court heard the government’s petition and registered a criminal case against Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. The case was transferred to the Fourth Additional District Court for trial. Fourth Additional District Court Judge Sarath Babu has issued a notice to Pawan Kalyan to attend the trial on March 25.

Pawan Kalyan’s Varahi Yatra was held in Eluru on July 9 last year. In the meeting held on this occasion, Pawan made many allegations against the volunteer system. He said that the police is saying that 29 thousand to 30 thousand girls have disappeared in the state and 14 thousand of them have returned, why is the CM not asking about the rest? Pawan alleged in that meeting that through the system of volunteers, information of every family member is collected and identified single women and handed them over to some anti-social forces and abducted them.
