The lockdown 4.0 is underway, the time has come for Tollywood to think about the shootings. Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers have declared that we have to learn to live with coronavirus. Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi has taken an initiative of holding a meeting with all the leading producers, directors, actors to plan strategies to resume shoot of the movies after lockdown and he is going to hold a special meeting today with some big wigs in the film industry.
The sources say that the meeting will happen today from 10: 30 am onwards at Chiranjeevi’s house. Along with some big producers in Tollywood, cinematography minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and FDC Chairman Ram Mohan Rao will also attend this meeting.
After the meeting, the representatives of the Telugu film industry will meet Telangana Chief Minister KCR seeking permission to resume shootings. The reopening of theaters will also be discussed.
Various topics like when the shoots will start and what precautions should be taken will be discussed in detail.
On the other side, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that the state, which is the home to Bollywood film industry, is open to working on a plan to allow the resumption of the entertainment industry if it agrees for a limited number of filming or post-production processes and strictly follow physical distancing rules within a restricted environment. Uddhav Thackeray said that in the green or orange zones, the entertainment industry can start filming in a limited way.
In Tollywood, SS Rajamouli’ ‘RRR’, Megastar Chiranjeevi’ ‘Acharya’, Allu Arjun’ Pushpa and Prabhas’s 20th film need to commence their shooting.
