Declared: Kashmir issue is not on Trump’s table anymore

From quite a long time there is a huge hovering across the Indian borders that Supreme Power Donald Trump has been looking/mediating into the Kashmir issue on India revoking Article 370 and 35 (A). But, it looks like there comes an end to all those long-lasted speculations and diversified rumors. According to a top Indian diplomat, US President Donald Trump has made it clear that his offer of mediation on Kashmir was not on his table anymore.

Harsh Vardhan Shringla who is an Indian ambassador to the US said that per America’s ages-old policy on Kashmir says it has no mediation but to encourage both the neighboring countries of India and Pakistan to resolve their issues bilaterally.

On speaking to an interview to US-based channel, Indian ambassador Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that “President Trump has made it very clear that his offer to mediate on Jammu and Kashmir is dependent on both India and Pakistan accepting it. Since India has not accepted the offer of mediation, he has made it clear that this is not on the table anymore”.

Whereas, all these were started when US President Trump speaking with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan at media where he said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought his mediation/arbitration on the Kashmir issue. Whereas, India made it clear that no such request was made by Modi.
