Denied MLA tickets Jana Sena leader stage protest

The announcement of the candidates has created a rift in the TDP-Jana sena alliance. The selection of candidates has become a big headache for the ruling YCP as well as the opposition TDP-Jana sena alliance.

Vidivada Ramachandra Rao, the Jana sena leader of West Godavari District’s Tanuku Constituency, has prepared everything to contest the election this time. He believed that he would get the ticket as the in-charge of the constituency. But as part of the alliance, the Tanuku seat went to TDP. Former MLA Arimilli Radhakrishna will contest on behalf of the TDP-Jana sena alliance. Ramachandra Rao, who was deeply dissatisfied with this, started agitation with his followers.

Jana sena political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar, who is currently touring in West Godavari district, was hit by the protest. Ramachandra Rao protested with his followers at Jaya Garden in Alampuram, Pentapadu mandal, where Nadendla was staying on Monday night.  Vidivada warned him that if he was given a ticket, he would win or else take his life.

Vidivada Ramachandra Rao’s followers and Jana sena activists protested at the guest house where Nadendla was staying and tension broke out. Immediately Tadepalligudem DSP reached the place with police forces and took care to prevent any untoward incident
