Devusinh Chauhan – Union Minister of State for Communications has said BJP central leadership will respond to the arrest of Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu at an appropriate time.
He said that the BRS government was indulging in corrupt practices in Telangana and people were aware of its corruption.
A week has passed since Chandrababu Naidu stepped into the Rajahmundry Central Jail as a remand prisoner. Vijayawada ACB court remanded Chandrababu Chandrababu in the skill development case registered by AP CID and he was taken to Jamuna Jail early last Monday. On September 9, Babu, who was on a tour of Nandyala district, was taken to Vijayawada by the police. Arguments continued throughout the day in court.
TDP leaders thought that the hydra that was going on with the arrest of Chandrababu will come to an end in Vijayawada. Lawyer Siddhartha Luthra was brought from Delhi in a special flight to free Chandrababu. Luthra’s arguments were heard in the ACB court throughout the day on the 10th, but they were futile before the sections registered by the CID. Babu’s lawyers argued that there was no evidence in the skill development case, and in the case of the political party. Agreeing with CID’s arguments, ACB court judge Himbindu remanded Chandrababu for 14 days.
