Digvijay Singh’ brother Lakshman Singh angry over Congress’ rejection of Ram Mandir invitation

Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh’s brother Lakshman Singh has expressed his anger over the Congress party’s rejection of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha. He strongly criticized AICC’s decision not to go to the Prana Pratishtha ceremony and said it was not the right decision.

Lakshman Singh said: Late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi had opened the temple’s locks and recalled that the then UP CM Bahadur Singh had talked about the construction of the Ram Mandir. But unfortunately Bahadur Singh lost his post after that. He said that Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated. So this matter was pending.

After that, saints from all over the country continued the movement. Many people joined the movement along with the intellectuals, he said. He said that it should be recognized that only those who fought for the Ram Mandir will take the decision regarding Prana Pratishtha. That’s why they made the decision. But what is the meaning of refusing when invited? He asked. What kind of message are we sending to the public by denying this? He deposed that. It was Rajiv Gandhi who opened the temple’s locks.
