The young and happening hero Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy in the shoot of upcoming film Fighter which is progressing at the brisk pace in Mumbai in the direction of Puri Jagannadh. It is known news that Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey is on the board to play the female lead in this action drama. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Ananya Pandey was not the first choice of this film. Puri Jagannadh wanted to rope Disha Patani in his upcoming directorial venture Fighter which has Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role but the actress turned down the offer.
Disha Patani is the well known face for Telugu people as she made her debut in Tollywood with Loafer, directed by Puri Jagannadh in which Mega Prince Varun Tej played the lead role. Puri Jagannadh is popular for introducing popular heroines like Asin, Hansika Motwani, Rakshita, Adah Sharma, Neha Sharma, and many others in the film industry. Disha Patani was also introduced by Puri Jagannad and now she has become a star heroine in Bollywood.
The source say that Puri Jagannadh is working on a bilingual with the young actor Vijay Devarakonda. Karan Johar is presenting the film in Hindi and Disha Patani was the first choice of Puri for this film. When the makers approached Disha Patani, she reportedly turned down the offer.
