YCP government, which has been in power for four years in Andhra Pradesh, is spending heavily on welfare rather than development. Even if there is no money in the treasury, it is implementing more welfare by taking loans. No matter how many criticisms are received on this, they don’t care. But this effect seems to be evident now on the standard of living of the people in the state. Poverty in the state has been reduced by half due to the large-scale implementation of the schemes. YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy today tweeted on the issue of the impact of the welfare schemes implemented by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on poverty.

In this he said that YS Jagan‘s welfare schemes are bearing fruit. He said that half of the poor in AP have been reduced in five years. He said that poverty has reduced from 11.77 percent to 6.06 percent. He revealed that now the number of poor people in the state has reduced drastically.

Vijaysai Reddy tweeted: CM’s welfare schemes are yielding results. The poor in AP have halved in five years – from 11.77 to 6.06 percent. Andhra has reached the target within 10 percent set by NITI Aayog.

Recently, NITI Aayog released a report that 13.5 crore poor people have come out of poverty in the last five years. NITI Aayog also said that the states of UP, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Rajasthan are ahead. Now, YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy has said through a tweet that poverty has been reduced by half in the last five years in AP as well.
