Congress has constituted its Manifesto Committee for 2024 Lok Sabha polls and appointed the former Union minister P Chidambaram as its chairman.
The Congress party, which achieved a sensational victory in the Telangana assembly elections, has focused on the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024. This time, the battle is being prepared with the determination to form the government at the centre. As part of this, the party has formed a Manifesto Committee for 2024 Elections under the leadership of senior leader and former Union Minister Chidambaram. Congress chief Mallikarjuna Kharge announced this committee with a total of 16 members.
It includes Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and party’s National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Former Union Ministers Anand Sharma, Jairam Ramesh and Shashi Tharoor will play key roles in this committee which will finalize the agenda of the Congress party for the Lok Sabha elections. Alindia Professionals Congress Chief Praveen Chakraborty, Deputy Leader of the party in Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi, former Deputy CM of Manipur Gaikham Gum and others are also in the committee.
