The security staff did not allow not only the common man but even the MLAs of the ruling party to enter the new secretariat built by the prestigious Telangana government. The employees who came to the secretariat on the first day on Monday had the same experience. They said that they were employees and came to attend to their duties, but they did not listen. The employees complained that the security personnel told them that they would not be allowed to enter on the basis of their identity cards.
As a result, some people called the security personnel with their superiors and went inside but others could not attend the duties. It seems that this situation has arisen due to the lack of clear instructions from the higher authorities to the security personnel regarding who should be allowed in and from which gate.
Some MLAs of the ruling party, who could not attend the opening ceremony of the secretariat on Sunday, came to the secretariat on Monday. Those MLAs who came to visit the new secretariat and meet Chief Minister KCR had a bitter experience. They were also not allowed inside by the security personnel.
They decided that they would not let them in unless they received orders from above. Because of this, the MLAs turned back. It is reported that some MLAs were allowed inside after a few hours. On the other hand, the officials of the medical department who came to participate in the official meeting also turned back after being blocked by the security personnel.
