Former Pakistan PM was named in an FIR for the murder of Supreme Court lawyer Abdul Razzaq Shar, who had filed a petition against Imran Khan.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is haunted by difficulties. Now the murder case of Supreme Court lawyer Abdul Razak Shah is hanging around his neck. The police have registered a case against him under the Prevention of Terrorism Act. Abdul Razak was on his way to the High Court on Tuesday when unknown assailants shot and killed him in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. His son Siraj Ahmed filed a case alleging that Imran Khan was behind his father’s murder. Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf confirmed that a case has been registered against Imran.

Lawyer Abdul Razak filed a constitutional petition in the Balochistan High Court against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri, alleging the illegal dissolution of the National Assembly in April 2022. Siraj has alleged in the FIR that he received threats to kill his father after this incident. Yesterday, the court issued orders not to arrest Imran till the 21st of this month in the case of selling government gifts.

Earlier Pakistan govnt registered a case of fraud and forgery against Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi and their close aides for preparing and submitting fake and forged receipts regarding  theToshakhana gifts.
