Telugu Desam party- TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu’ son Nara Lokesh has been arrested by the police. This is the first in his life and the political career, former Andhra Pradesh minister and TDP National Secretary Nara Lokesh has been arrested.
Nara Lokesh and a few other Telugu Desam party leaders and cadres were arrested by the Guntur Police after consoling the family members of student Ramya who was brutally murdered.
It is known that 20 years old engineering student Ramya was stabbed to death in broad daylight on Independence Day in Guntur city of Andhra Pradesh and this incident took place on Sunday. She was identified as Nallapu Ramya, a resident of Amartaluru village in Guntur district.
The attacker stabbed Ramya in the throat and stomach 6 times, and killed her on the spot. The murder assault was captured on the CCTV camera. This incident has shaken the entire state. With CCTV footages, showing how Ramya was murdered, went viral on the internet.
TDP MLC, Nara Lokesh was arrested by Guntur Police and he was shifted to Tadipatri police station when he tried to visit the house of Ramya. Not only Lokesh, other Senior TDP leaders and former ministers Dhoolipalla Narendra, Alapati Raja, Nakka Anand Babu, were also arrested.
