BRS won first victory in Maharashtra election. BRS President and Chief Minister KCR has promised to implement ‘Telangana Model’ welfare schemes and development programs in Maharashtra if he comes to power in Maharashtra in the elections to be held in October 2024. KCR also announced a one-month action plan to expand the BRS and expand its ideology in Maharashtra from the village level by forming nine committees in every village for farmers, SCs, STs, OBCs, women, youth and students.

KCR’ party, which changed from TRS to BRS and entered the national politics, is continuing its expansion strategies more aggressively. It was in this sequence that the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) won the first phase of elections in Maharashtra. The results of the by-election to the Gram Panchayat in Chhatrapati Shambhaji Nagar are out. Ghafar Sardar Pathan BRS candidate won there. Last month, an open meeting of the BRS party was held in Chhatrapati Shambhajinagar district.

 KCR is trying to expand BRS party to the national level. He also held meetings in some districts of Maharashtra. The party has decided to contest all the upcoming elections. According to this, BRS Party workers also took part in the by-elections to the Gram Panchayat on Thursday. The results of the Gram Panchayat by-election held on 18th May in Gangapur taluka Ambelohal village of Chhatrapati Shambhajinagar were declared on 18th May.  This is the first victory of the BRS party in Maharashtra with the victory of Ghafar Sardar Pathan BRS candidate.
