AIMIM strikes in the old city of Hyderabad. MIM candidate Mir Zulfikar Ali won in Charminar Assembly constituency. BJP candidate Megha Rani Agarwal was restricted to the second position. Megha Rani was in the lead for the first few rounds but it was temporary.
Securing 49,002 votes, Mir Zulfiqar has sealed his victory in the Charminar constituency. After the 15th round, he was in the lead with around 22,858 votes.

Coming 2nd to the former Mayor is Megha Rani Agarwal of the Bharatiya Janata Party- BJP who secured around 26,144 votes.
In 3rd place with 10,566 votes is Mohammed Mujeebullah Shareef of Congress.
Also, MIM candidates are leading in Malak Peta, Chandrayangutta and Bahadurpura constituencies.
