Pan India star Prabhas is playing the lead role in ‘Salaar – Part 1: Ceasefire’, which is eagerly awaited by the movie lovers. Expectations are high on this film which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of KGF fame director Prashanth Neel. According to the latest report, the highly-anticipated film Salaar, starring Prabhas, got postponed to avoid the box-office clash with Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and lady Superstar Nayanthara starrer Jawan. As per amazon movies booking, Salaar will be released on 24th November 2023.
Shruti Haasan is playing the heroine opposite Baahubali and Saaho fame Prabhas in the movie ‘Salaar – Part 1: Ceasefire’, which is being helmed by Prashanth Neel. Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran is essaying the villain. The movie also starring Ishwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Tinnu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Ramachandra Raju and others in important roles.
Salaar is being made on the lavish budget of Rs 200 crore and Prabhas playing the role of a gangster, the film has garnered significant attention. There is also news of a sequel in the works, with Jagapathi Babu’s character appearing prominently in 2nd part. Prabhas and Shruti Haasan starrer Salaar is set to release not only in regional languages but also in Hindi, making it a pan-Indian release.
