Vikarabad MLA Gaddam Prasad Kumar, who represents the Vikarabad assembly constituency, will act as the new Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly. Gaddam Prasad Kumar ‘name was finalized by the Congress leadership. In 2012, he served as the Textile Minister in the then CM Nallari Kirankumar Reddy’s cabinet. Prasad who is the main follower of Revanth Reddy has now got the post of Speaker.
Gaddam Prasad Kumar is a former Minister, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President and AICC Member.
Damodara Rajanarsimha, who won the SC quota, got the post of minister and Gaddam Prasad Kumar was given the post of speaker by the administration. With this, Dalit social circles are on ninth cloud.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy is going to take oath as the new Chief Minister of Telangana. The arrangemnets have made arrangements at the LB Stadium. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul , Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and party national president Mallikarjuna Kharge have already reached Hyderabad to participate in the swearing-in ceremony. Accommodation was arranged for Sonia Gandhi family at Hotel Taj Krishna in the city.
