Karnataka mining baron and politician Gali Janardhan Reddy announced his plans for the 2023 Karnataka elections and launched a new political party named Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha –KRPP on 25th December, which translates to Development State Oriented Party. KRPP party is going to contest the direct elections. Gali Janardhan Reddy is going to contest from Gangavathi assembly constituency in Koppal in the coming assembly elections.
Mining baron and former BJP leader Gali Janardhana Reddy said he would soon make further announcements regarding his party’s manifesto, symbol and candidates and number of seats they would contest.
Gali Janardhana Reddy said he plans to serve the people of Kalyana Karnataka region comprising 7 districts, Raichur, Koppal, Bidar, Yadgir, Kalaburagi, Ballari and Vijayanagara. The announcement regarding KRPP came ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections scheduled for 2023.
Assembly elections in Karnataka state are scheduled for the first half of 2023 and are most likely to be held in the month of April or May. Janardhana Reddy stated that he would contest from the Gangavathi constituency in Koppal district in upcoming Assembly polls. He also said he would be touring Karnataka state .
Gali Janardhan Reddy added, “If the political parties try to divide people in state and try to benefit from consequences, it is not possible in Karnataka.
