Mining king, former BJP leader and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy is in the Karnataka election ring. He filed his nomination yesterday as a candidate of his own party ‘Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Prakasha Party’ – KRPP from Gangavati constituency of Koppala district. His property worth is Rs. 29,20,44,317 and he  filed an affidavit. There was a massive procession in which Gali Janardhan Reddy participated before submitting his nomination papers.

 Gali Janardhan Reddy said that  his newly formed party, KRPP, has caught the attention of the entire State. He exuded the confidence over his newborn party coming to power with  the  full majority in the State within a few years.

His wife Lakshmi Aruna has Rs 96.26 crore in cash and deposits Rs 32 lakh worth of silver. He said in the affidavit that he had gold ornaments worth 7.93 crores. Also, 258 kg of silver, Rs. 16.44 crore worth of diamonds and gold. 

He studied till class 10 with Rs. 1.33 lakh in cash. It is stated in the affidavit that he has not been convicted in any of the cases registered against him for various crimes. Meanwhile, Gali Janardhan Reddy’s party KRPP has been assigned the ‘football’ symbol by the Election Commission.
