Anchor turned actress Anasuya Bharadwaj, who has been the part of few hit Telugu movies, has signed another Telugu film. Anasuya Bharadwaj  has been roped in family drama Rangamarthanda , which will be directed by Krishna Vamsi. we have already reported that Krishna Vamsi is making his comeback in Tollywood after a long gap with an upcoming film Rangamarthanda in which his wife Ramya Krishna will play the crucial role.  Anasuya Bharadwaj has been bagging some author-backed characters.  While details about Anasuya Bharadwaj’ character in the movie are kept as a secret, she is excited about playing the part.

The film Rangamarthanda  is an official remake of the acclaimed Marathi drama, Natsamrat. Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna are already on the board to play the lead role.  The upcoming film of Ramya Krishna, Prakash Raj and Anasuya Bharadwaj starrer Rangamarthanda  will be bankrolled by Abhishek Jawkar and Madhu Kalipu whereas it has the music by Legendary music composer Ilayaraja.

The sources say that Krishna Vamsi is very impressed with the screen presence of Anasuya Bharadwaj in the film Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar, that is the main reason, he approached her to play the challenging role in his upcoming directorial venture Rangamarthanda .

When approached for the part, Anasuya Bharadwaj, too, who has been on the lookout for substantial parts, found her role in the family drama to be very challenging and exciting. The sources say that Anasuya Bharadwaj picked up the role was because it was offered by one of her favorite directors Krishna Vamsi. Moreover, it is an impactful role and very crucial when it comes to driving the narrative.

 On the other side, Anasuya Bharadwaj was last seen in Meeku  Maathrame  Cheptha, which was produced by Vijay Deverakonda and the movie starring Tharun Bhascker Dhassyam, Abhinav Gomatam, Vani Bhojan, Avantika Mishra, Pavani Gangireddy, Naveen George Thomas.
