BRS got another shock. Leaders from the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi are joining the Congress party. GHMC deputy mayor and BRS Tarnaka corporator Mothe Srilatha and her husband, trade union leader Shoban Reddy, quit the party on Saturday.
Recently Srilatha and her husband met Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. After leaving BRS, they decided to join the Congress and resigned from the BRS.
Srilatha and her husband will join Congress at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday in the presence of AICC Telangana affairs in charge Deepa Dasmunsi.
Former GHMC mayor Bontu Rammohan, former deputy mayor Baba Fasiuddin and others left BRS and joined the Congress party recently.
Former Maheshwaram MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy and his daughter-in-law Teegala Anitha Reddy met Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on Saturday. Teegala Krishna Reddy will also join the Congress party. Former minister Patnam Mahender Reddy’s wife Vikarabad Zilla Parishad chairperson Patnam Sunita Mahender Reddy has joined the Congress party.
