The state governor has asked the government for clarification on five points on the RTC bill . Responding to this, Raj Bhavan also released a statement. It is believed that if clarity is given on these,  permission will be given.

 5 Points:

1. The bill does not contain any details about central grants, shares, loans and other assistance in RTC since 1958.

2. The Bill does not contain comprehensive details on changing the status of RTC as per Schedule IX of the State Apportionment Act.

3. Government saying that RTC employees will be treated as equal to government employees. Governor mentioned whether Industrial Disputes Act, labor laws are applicable to their problems and how their interests will be protected.

4. The governor asked the government to give clear details regarding whether all RTC employees will be given pension at par with government employees in the merger draft bill and all the benefits should be given to them at par with government employees.

5. Since there are no posts like conductor, controller etc among the government employees, the Governor asked the government to give clear details about their promotions and their cadre normalization so that justice and other benefits can be provided to the RTC employees.

 The Governor has thoroughly examined the Telangana RTC merger bill. The governor’s office said that the government would immediately provide an explanation to the governor on the unclear points in the TSRTC bill.
