Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’ recent comments on women at Nagarjuna University have caused a stir. Many celebrities and women’s groups have already criticized the sensational film maker RGV. They demanded an apology for the comments made. Recently, former president of Telangana PCC V Hanumantha Rao has joined this list.
Telangana PCC V Hanumantha Rao has written a letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to take strict action against Satya helmer RGV. The film maker’ comments against women in Nagarjuna University were inappropriate. It is sad that even the film industry has not responded to his comments so far. If left like this, insulting women will become the norm, he expressed.
V Hanumantha Rao challenged RGV to come to Kakatiya University or Osmania University and make such comments if he really had the guts. V Hanumantha Rao warned that the Vice Chancellor of Nagarjuna University should be suspended and action should be taken against RGV, otherwise there will be a large-scale agitation.
VHR said, “RGV called upon students to enjoy life saying that Ramba and Urvasi may not be there in the heaven. By making such comments, RGV has insulted, abused and demeaned the women.”
