Harish Rao attacks Congress Govt

BRS leader and former minister T Harish expressed his anger that the Congress government should take full responsibility for the hardships faced by the farmers in the state and that the Congress government has betrayed the farmers. He said that the Congress government has failed.

He criticized that the loan waiver program up to Rs 2 lakh remains a non-starter and 24-hour free electricity supply to the agriculture sector is a thing of the past. MLA Harish said that there is still uncertainty over the promise of Rs 500 per quintal bonus to the rice farmers and Congress should be taught a lesson for making loose promises and failing to implement them.

He said that people should vote for BRS to make a comeback in the parliamentary elections in the state. He complained that the Congress could not retain its 40 seats in the Lok Sabha this time and that Rahul Gandhi could not become the Prime Minister. He reiterated that there is no possibility of Congress becoming the main opposition at the center and BRS’s defeat in the assembly elections is only a temporary defeat. He said BRS has always remained a people’s party irrespective of opposition and treasury benches.

He gave a warning to the Congress government that if false cases were made against BRS party leaders and workers and they were harassed, they would face backlash. BRS has a bright future and will definately bounce back. He said that the Congress government has spread bad propaganda on the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS).
