BJP National President JP Nadda has finalized the name of former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeshwari as the President of BJP AP.
The party appointed Kishan Reddy as the Telangana BJP chief instead of Bandi Sanjayand took a decision to appoint former Union minister Purandeshwari as the AP BJP chief. But this decision taken by Bharitya Janata Party has given shock to many. The campaign that Kishan Reddy will replace Bandi Sanjay, has been going on for a few days. Although there is a discussion that Somu Veerraj will be replaced in Andhra Pardesh too. There are speculations that Bharitya Janata Party leader Satyakumar Yadav will be appointed in his place. There were also reports that BJP leaders had finalized his name. But surprisingly Purandheswari’s name was finalized as the AP BJP chief by the party leadership. In fact, when the news came that BJP high command had approved the name of Satyakumar as Andhra Pradesh BJP chief, the campaign started that BJP’s alliance with TDP was almost certain.
The state presidents finalized the names after party national president Nadda’s meeting with central ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Shekawat. To this extent, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh has issued an order.
Daggubati Purandeshwari has been appointed as the president of BJP AP by the party leadership. She is the President of the Mahila Morcha of BJP.
