Arjun Reddy, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in which young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey played the lead role, was one of the blockbuster movie of Telugu film Industry. It is known news that Shahid Kapoor is getting ready to entertain the audiences and his fans with Kabir Singh, the remake of Telugu movie Arjun Reddy, which is also helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Shahid Kapoor is reprising the role of Vijay Deverakonda whereas Kiara Advani is playing the role of Shailini Pandey. After delivering Arjun Reddy, Sandeep Reddy Vanga wanted to make a movie with Mahesh Babu.
On the other side, in Bollywood, Sahid Kapoor was agreed to act in Kabir Singh only if Sandeep Reddy directs it. However, initially Sandeep was not ready to direct the remake of Arjun Reddy as he was eager to join his hands with Mahesh Babu but as Spyder and Maharshi star was busy in his ongoing project, asked Sandeep Reddy to wait for few months. As Sandeep Reddy and Mahesh Babu’ project getting delayed, the director joined hands with Shahid Kapoor for Kabir Singh. This news is confirmed by Shahid Kapoor himself.
Now North Indian audiences are thanking to Mahesh Babu for Kabir Singh, as Sandeep Reddy Vanga was supposed to make a film with Maharshi actor, but it got delayed and Sandeep agreed to helm Kabir Singh.
