Hyderabad Commissioner Srinivasa Reddy said that drugs are mostly consumed by the Tollywood in Telangana. Telangana government has recently issued orders appointing Srinivasa Reddy as Hyderabad Police Commissioner. Srinivasa Reddy, who assumed the duties of Commissioner, first targeted Tollywood. Srinivasa Reddy said that drug parties happen mostly in the Telugu film industry and Tollywood promotes the use of drugs.
Srinivasa Reddy said that because there is a demand, there is still a supply of drugs in Hyderabad. Commissioner Srinivasa Reddy said that a meeting is going to be arranged with Tollywood leaders and film industry associations to eradicate the drug epidemic. He suggested that the industry should also take initiative and organize meetings to block these drugs.
He said that there are both good and bad in movie categories. Srinivasa Reddy suggested that the use of drugs is high in the film industry, so Tollywood elders should focus on it.
