After the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, a lot has been spoken and written about Nepotism in Hindi Film Industry. Recently Pooja Bhatt took to twitter to talk about how their production house had launched many newcomers, and also took credit for launching Kangana’ debut film, Gangster.
Kangana Ranaut is also well known face for the Telugu people. Reacting to Pooja Bhatt’ post, the National award winning actress Kangana Ranaut’ team revealed that she became a heroine on her talent. Queen actress said that she was also selected for Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Pokiri’ but she didn’t sign the film because Anurag Basu offered her heroine’s role in the movie ‘Gangster’. According to Kanagana Ranaut, she was the original choice in ‘Pokiri’ for the heroine’s role but as she rejected the movie, the makers roped Goa beauty Ileana Cruz.
Before Ileana D Cruz, Kangana Ranaut was finalized to romance Mahesh Babu in the film. Though she was selected by Puri Jagannadh after giving in an audition, she left the project.
Meanwhile Kangana Ranaut is busy with ‘Thalaivi’, a biopic on the life and times of former AIADMK supremo and Chief Minister of Tamilnadu J Jayalalithaa. Arvind Swami is essaying MGR, in Thalaivi, which is co-produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh.
