Indian 2 starring versatile actor Kamal Haasan is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of talented and creative filmmaker Shankar.
Kajal Aggarwal is on the board to play the female lead role.
According to the latest update, Indian 2 deals with various crimes against the women in India. From the past few years, the crimes against women have grown in numbers and 2.0 fame Shankar has decided to highlight woman crime in his upcoming much-awaited directorial venture.
The sources close to the film unit revealed that there is a powerful flashback portion featuring the young Kamal Haasan in the pre-independence era.
The shoot of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 resumed earlier this week with Kamal Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh. Apart from Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal, the film also has Aishwarya Rajesh, Siddharth, Vidyut Jamwal, Delhi Ganesh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Nedumudi Venu in pivotal characters.
Kajal Aggarwal is currently learning Kalaripayattu, the ancient martial art form of Kerala for the movie. Rakul Preet Singh is paired opposite Siddharth.
It is being heard that the makers are planning to release Indian 2 only in March of 2021.
The film will hit the screens on 14th March on the occasion of Tamil New Year.
