However, the post has taken many by a shock as 3 days ago Poonam Pandey had shared a post on her social media account where she looked healthy. Her manager has confirmed the news of her death to Zoom. One of the netizen said: Lost? Hope this is not fake or fun post. Another netizen said: I hope it’s not some marketing gimmick coz it’s distasteful but if it’s true. Rest in peace.
The official statement on Insta read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost Poonam Pandey to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in the contact with her was met with love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for the privacy while we remember Poonam fondly for all that we shared.”
