ISRO has given a key update on the launch of Aditya L-1. It has been clarified that the mission will be launched on September 2.

After the success of Chandrayaan-3, the world’s attention is on ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation). There is widespread interest in ISRO’s next projects. Among these, ISRO has given a key update. The company has recently announced the launch date of Aditya-L1 to study the Sun. It has been clarified that on September 2 this year, the Aditya L1 mission will fly to Ninggi from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 11:50 am.

ISRO will use PSLV XL rocket for this Aditya-L1 mission. It can be seen through live streaming. This Aditya-L1 will travel about 1.5 million km from Earth and reach as close as possible to the Sun. After that, it conducts research on the effect of the sun on the atmosphere of space and other topics.

ISRO recently announced the main objectives of this mission. Aditya L-1 will conduct comprehensive research on coronal heating, solar flares, coronal mass ejections, solar winds and near-Earth space weather. 7 scientific payloads are being used in this mission. The Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope is one of them.

Aditya-L1 will enter a halo orbit around the Lagrange Point 1 (L1) of the Sun-Earth system. Thus, the satellite gets a continuous view of the sun. NASA’s Solar and Heliospheric Observatory satellite is also in the same orbit. For the last two decades, this satellite has been conducting research on the Sun.
