The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has announced that the area where Chandrayaan-3 landed on the south pole of the Moon will henceforth be called Shiva Shakti. It has been revealed that August 23, when India landed on Moon, will be held as ‘National Space Day’.

Prime Minister Modi went to ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network Mission Control Complex in Bangalore on Saturday morning. Narendra Modi met the scientists who played a key role in the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission and appreciated their efforts. He spoke on many issues.

“The scenes of August 23, those moments, are still visible in front of my eyes. It is a matter of pride for India. I felt like meeting and saluting you who played a vital role in the success of the mission. I am very happy today. Such events Let’s call the area where Chandrayaan-3 landed ‘Shiva shakti’. Let’s call the area where Chandrayaan-2 landed on the moon’s surface ‘Tiranga’. It will become a symbol of India’s efforts. It reminds us that failure is not the end,” said the Prime Minister Modi.

Modi landed at Bangalore’s HAL airport on Saturday morning after completing a one-day visit to Greece. He was warmly welcomed by BJP leaders, activists and fans. Modi addressed all of them.
