Jaanu Teaser: Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand starrer Jaanu is one of the most awaited movies of Telugu Film Industry. Jaanu is the Telugu remake of Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Sethupathi’ Tamil super hit film 96. The Telugu remake is titled after Samantha’ character Janaki aka Jaanu. In August last year, the shoot of Jaanu was stalled for a few months after Sharwanand suffered an injury while shooting. Today the maker of Jaanu took to twitter to unveil the teaser and it has romance written all over it. Jaanu teaser is receiving the positive response by the movie lovers.
Sharwanand is playing the role of a travel photographer while Samantha essays his pair. Jaanu teaser has elements of all possible emotions – love, jubilation and sadness too. What makes their chemistry work is composer Govind Vasantha’ soothing background score.
Gouri Kishan who played the younger version of Trisha Krishnan in 96 received a lot of appreciation from the audience for the portrayal of younger Janu and now she will be seen in Telugu version of Jaanu. She is reprising the younger version of Samantha in Jaanu.
According to media reports, director C Prem Kumar has made a few changes in the script according to the taste of Telugu audience. Meanwhile, Samantha’s first poster from the film is yet to be out but a new poster featuring Sharwanand sees him all alone in the middle of the desert. The major part of Jaanu has been shot in Hyderabad, Maldives and Kenya. Samantha has already wrapped up the shoot of her part. Currently Jaanu is in post production stage.
