The YCP government has given another good news to the disabled in AP. The government, which has already provided 4 percent reservation in education and jobs and is applying various social schemes, is now ready to implement this reservation in APPSC level jobs as well. APPSC has recently made a statement regarding this. The government has also issued orders with its procedures.
Jagan govt took a key decision during the elections for the disabled in AP. It has been decided to provide 4 percent reservation for disabled persons in various job appointments and promotions conducted by APPSC. In this regard, the latest official announcement has come from APPSC. According to JVO No. 77 given by the government, henceforth APPSC is going to implement 4 percent reservation for disabled persons in relation to recruitment and promotions.
The government has included the deaf, blind, cerebral palsy, leprosy, dwarfism, acid attack victims, muscular weakness, autism and mental patients in this list. But some conditions have been imposed in this reservation too. As always, it seems certain that some will be disqualified.
In these reservations implemented by APPSC, the government has set a condition that 100 percent of the persons with disabilities should be qualified in relation to the jobs. To this extent, the commission suggested that the disabled should register through the website of the commission. This reservation is going to be implemented in the jobs to be filled up through the job notifications announced hereafter for those who have registered.
