The Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh – KCR and Jagan Mohan Reddy have expressed shock over the demise of former Union Minister and veteran Bharitya Janatha Party leader Arun Jaitley, who passed away today after prolonged illness at All India Institute of Medical Science in the national capital .
former Finance Minister and Veteran BJP leader Arun Jaitely died on Saturday in New Delhi. He was 66. Arun Jaitely had been suffering from various ailments for the past few years. He was admitted to AIIMS on 9th August. He was being treated by a multidisciplinary team of the senior doctors.
KCR expressed grief over the death of Arun Jaitley and wrote on the wall of Twitter, “Hon’ble CM Sri KCR has expressed shock over the demise of former Union Minister Sri Arun Jaitley Ji. CM recollected services rendered by Arun Jaitley to the nation and prayed that his soul may rest in peace. CM conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family.”
AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy wrote, “Sorry to hear about the demise of #ArunJaitley ji, an articulate, intellect and affable leader. In his 4-decade long political career, he made notable contributions in the service of nation and stood up for values. My prayers are with his family and friends in this hour of grief.”
