TDP youth leader Nara Loke’s Yuvagalam padayatra entered Mantralayam constituency on the 80th day on Tuesday. Nara Lokesh, who entered Mantralayam constituency at Gavigattu Cross, was warmly welcomed by Incharge Tikka Reddy, TDP workers and fans.
Lokesh, who saw the Pulikanuma Canal on the way to the padayatra, made interesting comments. He said that the efforts made by former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to provide cultivation and drinking water in the drought area is being realized at every step. On the outskirts of Mantralayam Constituency, Gavigattu, the Pulikanuma Branch Canal was seen as an oasis in the desert, bubbling with water.
“When the water supply to Tungabhadra LLC Canal was stopped, the uplift project was completed at Pulikanuma in Kosigi mandal with a cost of Rs 261 crore during the previous TDP government. Through this, it was designed to provide drinking water to 64 villages and irrigate 26 thousand acres. Since coming to power, nothing but looting and hiding has been done. Jagan Mohan Reddy, have you done anything like this to see happiness in the eyes of the people of Rayalaseema?” Nara LOkesh said.
Lokesh said: Jagan Mohan Reddy is a lousy Chief Minister, incompetent to provide minimum infrastructure on Simhadri Hill. He added: YCP is a party of lovers. One takes off his pants, the other takes off his shirt, the other takes off everything. It is fashionable for them to go around without clothes. Minister Suresh came with all of them as an example.
