Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy‘s Delhi visit schedule has undergone an unexpected change. As part of this visit, Jagan met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday night as planned. The meeting was held at Amit Shah’s residence for about 40 minutes. According to the schedule, Jagan Mohan Reddy has informed the media that he will leave for Vijayawada at 9:30 this morning, but he changed the trip and met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Initially Nirmala Sitharaman’ appointment was not finalized, so Jagan Mohan Reddy thought that he should leave early in the morning.
But, it seems that Jagan Mohan Reddy got a call from Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to come at the last minute. A little while ago, Jagan Mohan Reddy had a meeting with her. It seems that Jagan has asked Nirmala Sitharaman to release the grants along with the pending funds in two days. Meanwhile, this is the second time that Jagan Mohan Reddy flew Delhi in a span of 15 days.
Jagan Mohan Reddy also talked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on 17th of this month. Jagan’s visits to Delhi are generating interest in political circles at a time when key developments are taking place in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case and the Delhi liquor scam.
