Jagan Mohan Reddy to be sworn in as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister today

YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be sworn-in as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh today on 30th May 2019. All arrangements are in place for the swearing-in at the Indira Gandhi stadium in Vijayawada. Governor ESL Narasimhan will administer Jagan Mohan Reddy the oath of office and secrecy at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada at 12.23 pm.

Jagan Mohan Reddy will be the 2nd Chief Minister of bifurcated Andhra Pradesh. The election results were out on 23rd May and as Jagan Mohan Reddy won the elections, an auspicious muhurat had to be fixed for him to take oath as the Chief Minister. Hence, it will be at 12:23 pm today on Thursday.

Governor ESL Narasimhan too reached the city yesterday to administer the oath to Jagan Mohan Reddy. Telangana Chief Minister KCR, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Janasena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan going to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Jagan Mohan Reddy today. It is heard that Chandrababu Naidu has decided not to attend the swearing in.

It is heard that Jagan Mohan Reddy had personally invited Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan, his elder brother Chiranjeevi over phone. Now we have to wait and see whether both the brothers will attend the event or not. Around 20,000 people including all MLAs, MPs and MLCs, of YSR Congress party have been invited for the swearing in ceremony.
