The distance between Sharmila and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was evident during the engagement ceremony of YS Sharmila’s son Raja Reddy. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who went to his nephew’s engagement, spent only two and a half to three minutes at Golconda Resorts.
Jagan embraced KVP’s wife who came across him on the stage and then greeted his sister Sharmila and mother Vijayamma. He hugged his nephew Raja Reddy and congratulated him. He blessed the bride-to-be Priya. It was all over in two and a half to three minutes.
The engagement ceremony was held on Thursday evening at Golconda Resort in Gandipet, a suburb of Hyderabad. Ministers of Telangana and leaders of various parties in Andhra Pradesh attended the event. CM Jagan reached the resort at 8 pm to participate in the ceremony. He went straight to the main stage with wife Bharti. Jagan was accompanied by his son YV Subba Reddy along with his personal staff.
Sharmila took to Jagan for the blessing of the bride and groom. He affectionately touched mother Vijayamma. Sharmila’s face showed no reaction at that time. While giving bouquets to the new couple, people noticed Sharmila was far away while taking a group photo. Sharmila stood next to her husband Anil after being called a couple of times to come closer for a photo.
