Today,  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will lay the foundation stone for the construction of poor houses in Amaravati. Having overcome the obstacles and solved the legal issues, the government has allotted house tracks and is laying the foundation stone for the construction of houses. Houses are being constructed for the poor of Vijayawada and Guntur cities under CRDA.

The government is calculating that the price of each plot will be up to 10 lakhs. It says that infrastructure facilities are going to be provided at a cost of 384.42 crore rupees in the areas where these houses will be constructed. It is said that 73.74 crores will be spent on education and health.

The government is providing financial assistance at the rate of 1.80 lakhs for the construction of a house here. The bank is also providing a loan facility of another 35 thousand per pawala interest. Free sand is being given for the construction of these houses. Cement, steel, metal frames and other materials are given on subsidy. 

The government says that AP is at the first place in the country in the construction of pucca houses for the poor. With the aim of empowering the younger sisters, the government has provided free house titles and registrations to 30.65 lakh people in 71,811 acres with a market value of Rs 76,625 crores.
