Y.S Jagan, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh is standing in headlines all the time with his
mesmerizing decisions, ever since he took the oath. Amma Odi and Praja Vedika are the
revolutionary schemes that are as the hot topic these days. Amongst them, Amma Odi is meant
to revive the government-run schools in the first place.
Now, it looks like Jagan has taken another aggressive step towards the existing corporate
schools. In the recent review meeting with the education department officials, Andhra CM has
strictly suggested the officials take stern action on the corporate schools that are located nearby
government schools. Whereas the schools that are running in the apartment sized buildings
permissions would be scrapped off, Jagan decision reads.
Surely, this would be a hectic job for the education officials to locate and cancel the permissions
of schools that are running against the government norms out of whopping total 65,000 from
