Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that just like the success in Karnataka after the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Telangana last year, the grand old party is on the path to victory in the state. Jairam Ramesh tweeted that the Congress party in Telangana has already announced a farmer’s declaration in Warangal and a youth declaration in Hyderabad. If the Congress comes to power, they promised to return the waste lands to the tribals.
He said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which ran 405 kilometers through 8 districts of the state, received a great response from the people, and it is clear that they are heading towards success in Telangana as well as in Karnataka. Jairam Ramesh made these comments a day after Rahul Gandhi announced in Telangana that he would give a pension of Rs 4,000 per month to widows and senior citizens if his party comes to power.
