Team India is going to face a major setback if they are to play in the final of the World Test Championship WTC in the coming June as they will have to do without their star man Jasprit Bumrah. The injured star who was likely to be back for IPL season for the Mumbai Indians will also miss premier competition. Jasprit Bumrah is unlikely to be available for Mumbai Indians by the time of IPL. The BCCI and IPL authorities recently dismissed the news that Jasprit Bumrah, who has been away from cricket for the past six months due to injury, is going to enter the IPL. His injury is more serious than the doctors’ earlier estimate and the indications are that his recovery will take more time. With this, it seems that Jasprit Bumrah will not be available for IPL-2023 as well as the WTC final to be held in the month of June.

Jasprit Bumrah has failed to recover from injury which has kept him out of the team since September 2022. However, the extent of injury is serious and could hand a big headache for Team India with them likely to make the WTC final, which kicks starts on 7th June at Oval.
