It has been announced that BCCI Apex Council meeting will be held on March 2nd, and the officials are going to discuss about the providence of CK Nayudu Trophy and Senior Women’s 2020, that were delayed due to the Pandemic circumstances. Also, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for 2023 ODI World Cup will be formed. Due to the increased surge in the Covid cases last month, the CK Nayudu Trophy for U-25 cricketers and Women’s senior T20 event had to be put on the back burner.

Moreover, Ranji Trophy had also delayed along with them. But as soon as the cases have been declined, the organisation of the premier domestic event has been conducted by BCCI starting from February 17, and it has it finished the first round on February 20, within 4 days. The meeting will be happened with the agenda consisting 14 points. The organisation of these two domestic events has also included in the meeting to discuss.

Pandemic had pushed the T20 World Cup tournament last year in India. Now, the BCCI is planning to organise another major ICC event in the following year, 2023. After the conclusion of Education start-up Byju’s contract by March 31, the officials will consider the pros and cons on that matter. Currently, it is being sponsored by the Indian cricket team. BCCI will also decide the dispensation for the five-match T20 series against South Africa which is to be held in June. Central contracts of men and women cricketers will be endorsed and it will be the first of its kind sexual harassment policy of the BCCI.

Additionally, the meeting agenda is the inclusive of the hosting fee hike for state associations, and it is the appointment of a Sports Science head at the NCA. Finally, the order issued in the case of representation of Purvanchal Cricket Association will also be sanctioned by the BCCI.
