Today morning, the Bollywood producer Karan Johar took to his twitter to make the official announcement regarding his upcoming project Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in which Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will play the lead roles.
Karan Johar wrote on the wall of twitter, “Thrilled to get behind the lens with my favorite people in front of it! Presenting Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, headlined by none other than Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and written by Shashank Khaitan, Ishita Moitra, and Sumit Roy. This anokhi kahani is coming to your screens in 2022!.”
The upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also has Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in the crucial roles. Jaya Bachchan who is known for working in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kal Ho Na Ho, is playing the role of Ranveer Singh’ grandmother whereas Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi are playing the grand parented of Alia Bhatt. The movie is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy and is backed under the banner of Dharma Productions.
On the otherside, Alia Bhatt is making her debut in Tollywood with RRR under the direction of SS Rajamouli while Ranveer Singh is eagerly awaiting the release of Rohit Shetty’ directed venture 83.
