Another surprising incident took place in the Karnataka assembly election results. A BJP candidate has won the Jayanagar Constituency results of Bengaluru where there is a lot of excitement. The BJP candidate Ramamurthy requested for a recount on the results that were initially against. Congress party leaders and activists started to worry about this. The officials were accused of fraudulently changing the result during the recounting.

CK Ramamurthy on behalf of the BJP and Soumya Reddy on behalf of the Congress Party contested in the Jayanagara constituency in Bengaluru. While Soumya Reddy was in the majority in the first results, Ramamurthy objected. He expressed suspicion that there might have been a mistake in counting. The authorities have stopped the results from being revealed.
