Congress leader and former minister Mohammad Ali Shabbir accused Bharata Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief and Chief Minister KCR of betraying BCs and committing corruption under the guise of Dalit bandhu. He alleged that only a few people are getting the benefits of the welfare provided by the government, and more importantly, only a few workers selected from the party have benefited. Nizamabad Urban Congress Party candidate Mohammad Ali Shabbir made the above remarks while addressing the people at Bhawani Nagar Square in Nizamabad on Sunday.
Talking about the broader issues, Mohammed Ali, who alleged corruption in other government schemes like BC Bandhu and Minority Bandhu, revealed that KCR reprimanded the MLAs for their involvement. He said that once the Congress party comes to power, decisive action will be taken against those who have misused public money. Highlighting local concerns, Shabbir Ali pointed out the worsening conditions in the town. He said that the problem of mosquitoes with drainage problems has led to further health problems for the residents. He criticized that the government is not concerned about this.
He called upon the people to teach them a lesson by voting for the ruling party in the upcoming elections. Shabbir Ali argued that contrary to the government’s claims of development, the town has not seen the promised progress.
