Telangana High Court has given green signal for the Singareni elections. And the Elections will be held on 27th of this month as per the orders of the High court. However, BRS chief and former CM of Telangana -KCR took a key decision regarding this Singareni election.
KCR ordered Telangana Coal Mine Workers Union, an affiliate of BRS, not to contest the election. The leaders of the labor union were shocked by this decision. 3 top leaders of the union resigned. Among them are Working President Kengerla Mallaiah, TBGKS president Venkata Rao, and General Secretary Miryala Rajireddy. They are questioning why they should be in the union when they are not contesting the elections. They are likely to hold a media conference today.
They- Kengerla Mallaiah, Venkata Rao and Miryala Rajireddy will officially announce their resignations and explain the reasons that forced them to resign.
On the other hand, Miryala Rajireddy said it was painful to be told not to compete. Meanwhile, it seems that the disgruntled leaders will join the Congress.
