The official Telangana Integration Day celebrations are all set to take place on the 17th of this month. Ministers and TRS MLAs are engaged in preparing people from all the districts for the celebrations which will be held at NTR stadium. The chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will address the gathering. The TRS government is making preparations to celebrate the event in all districts for 3 days, starting from the 16th of this month.

Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Satyavathi Rathod and V. Srinivas Goud met senior authorities yesterday and reviewed the arrangements for the principal event. Also, the ministers directed the authorities to make luxurious arrangements at people’s plaza, P.V. Narasimha Rao Marg, from where a rally depicting the state’s cultural richness and heritage will be taken out till the venue. Nearly, one lakh people are going to participate in the event.

As the stadium can hold only 35,000 people, TRS leaders said that the people would converge on all the roads surrounding NTR stadium where big LED screens will be set up, which will take the turnout to over 1,00,000. Bike rallies will be taken out from the important entry points of the city. Pillion riders would be holding huge National flags during the rally.

The ministers ordered to have a proper parking so as to ensure that the participants were not made to walk long distances to arrive at the venue. The authorities should take care of drinking water supply along the entire route from people’s plaza to NTR stadium.

KCR will launch Banjara Bhavan and Adivasi Bhavan in Banjara Hills on that day. The RTC will arrange buses to bring tribals to the stadium after the inauguration ceremony. The meeting will have the presence of Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, DGP M. Mahendar Reddy, Additional DGP Jitender, special chief secretary, MA&UD, Aravind Kumar, secretary, GAD, V. Seshadri, secretaries Christina Zongthu and Srinivas Raju, commissioner, transport Jyothi Buddha Prakash, director, I&PR, Rajamouli and the director of culture, M. Harikrishna.
